We stopped here to air down. I think Ari liked the tires.   This gives an idea of the woods in this section.   This section was fairly mild...   There were some muddy sections.   This is the beginning of the 'Cemetary Trail'   Lennie managed to bury his nose in the mud and get fairly well stuck.   After Lonewolf tugged him out he made it through this slightly less deep but thicker mud.   Then Lonewolf blasted through it.   After that there was a climb with some rocky areas. Lennie just getting past an early section.   The next trail was a long, steep climb with plenty of loose rocks. Roger in his Passport.   Lennie climbing - you can see there were some wet sections.   Lonewolf in the Pathy - It was a pretty bumpy ride.   Eventually we made our way to the 'Mud Trail'. Geoff throwing a bit of mud.   After playing in the ruts, we stopped here before turning around to go back through the puddles.   Lennie in the larger puddle. The water levels were somewhat low.   A closeup of the 4-Runner.   We made our way to the 'Water Trail' - an early puddle.   Geoff in the same puddle.   Roger coming out of the 'Trench'...   Just after that you had to turn right and go down into this goopy hole.   Then you had to climb a muddy slope.   Lennie coming out, just before you turn right and down.   Coming out of the mud pit - I think he needed a tug to get past this lip.   Here comes Lonewolf out of the 'Trench'.   He ended up getting pretty stuck in the same place Jack had gotten stuck last fall. There is a rock sticking up and roots under the water, in addition to the thick mud.   The tailpipe was making an interesting sound.   We stopped at the rock escarpment and used the Hi-Lift to bend the step on the Passport back away from the rear tire.   Riding out.

Lennie(4Runner), Lonewolf(Pathfinder), Hopa2000(Passport) and my daughter Ari and I(Hardbody) met up in southeast Vermont for a day of wheeling. We basically crisscrossed a range near Putney, VT and then went out to the "Mud Trail" and "Water Trail" to play in the muck. Everyone did well, as far as I know Geoff bent his tailpipe, Lennie cracked his step, Roger bent his step back so it was rubbing on his rear tire and had some engine pulley noise and I did some more TRE and fender damage. I think we all ended up with many blackfly bites. In short, nothing too serious.
