This first little rise had a side slope to it and Justin bounced off to the left side going over. Eric decided to go to the right.   JC Went next. You can see the 4Runner in the foreground.   Troopslinger got pretty close to the edge.   Jim went next.   I was last.   Then Justin had to get out - there is a rock in front of his left front tire here.   Eventually he went along a parallel track and got out.   This gives an idea of the woods in this section.   Another rise - Eric.   Jeremy in his Amigo.   A typical shot of this section.   We stopped here for a moment before hitting the next trail.   We started up this long hill.   It went up gradually then took a turn and became more steep.   Justin closer to the turn.   It became more steep here - Jeepslinger in the Cherokee.   Troopslinger...   Jimbo went next.   Eric in the S-10.   Jeremy in his Amigo.

Justin(4Runner), Jim(Frontier), Jeremy(Amigo), Eric?(S-10), JC?(Cherokee), Troopslinger(Trooper), some passengers and I(Hardbody) met up in southeast Connecticut for a day of wheeling. (I didn't manage to catch everyone's name.) Justin had scouted the area for us and led the group on a snowy and therefore challenging set of trails. We went through some mild snowy trails then over a steep ridge that provided some more challenging icy ledges and ruts. After stopping for chow we headed to an area that ran along a river. We didn't get too far along that trail before it became apparent that the Trooper had sprung a coolant hose leak that took awhile to fix well enough to drive back out. I had a great time wheeling with everyone and would like to finish that trail near the river sometime. Thanks to Justin for the advance legwork in setting this up.
